What Happens at Scout Meetings?

The Beaver Scouts activities can be seen below on our programme wheel, which summarise what we do at Beavers.
The middle circle shows the different activities that we do at Beavers. Over the Session a mix of activities will be planned covering these topics, therefore delivering a balanced programme. Camps & Trips

Throughout the year there will be many opportunities for the Cubs to enjoy a camp or a special ’trip’ out.
Each camp will require form to be completed and signed by parents

Activities & Supervision

An important part of the appeal of Scouting is the provision of adventurous activities. The Scout Association has strict rules regulating these activities and, when appropriate, trained instructors are used for these activities. Adventurous activities or trips will be organised throughout the year as part of the Beaver and Cub programme and there will occasionally be an extra charge for certain events. More information is available from the Cub Scout Leader and the Scout Leader.

Throughout the year there is a wide programme of activities and events available to Beavers and Cubs. Some activities that we planning on running are:

  • District Camp
  • Orienteering
  • Abseiling
  • Pioneering
  • Fire-lighting
  • Cooking
  • First Aid
  • Tracking
  • Mapping
